Wanda was born in Rose Hill, VA to the late Dewey and Martha Weisman Fee. She was a member of Philadelphia Church of God and sang in the choir. She was a busy homemaker and mother to five rambunctious boys who she loved with all her heart. Wanda was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning, loved tending any kind of houseplant or flower and was an excellent cook. Nobody wanted to miss Sunday dinner at her house. She was a woman who leaves behind a legacy of hard work, love of God and family and strength in the face of adversity.

She is survived by three sons, David (Helen) Hobbs of Garner, Larry Hobbs and Randy Hobbs both of Greensboro; grandsons, Paul and Garrett Hobbs; three great grandchildren, Graham, Nathan and Abigail Hobbs; and sister Wilma (Robert) Ford of MD. In addition to her parents, husband and sons she is preceded in death by her sister, Pauline Stetzer and brothers, Dewey and Jimmy Fee.

The family would like to thank the staff of Golden Living Center for their compassion and love shown Mrs. Hobbs during her stay. Online condolences may be made at www.haneslineberryfuneralhomes.com.
