Baby Boy Avery James Truitt, 13 months old, beloved son of Robert and Kristin (Sullivan) Truitt, went to the arms of God on October 7, 2016. Avery enjoyed time with his Mama, Dada and big brother Bryce going to his pool and favorite splash park. The boys loved walks in their red wagon and sharing toys together. Avery lived a life not many could endure. He was strong when he felt ill and always kept a smile on his face. Even though Avery's life on earth was short lived, the impact and memories he has made will never be forgotten.

Those left to cherish his precious memory include his parents, Robert and Kristin Truitt; brother Bryce Timothy Truitt; maternal grandmother, Susan Sullivan "Mema"; maternal grandfather, Patrick Sullivan; paternal grandmother, Bobbie-Jean Truitt "Grandma"; paternal grandfather, Irving Truitt "Papa"; godmother, Jennifer Sullivan; godfather, Todd Ashley; numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and his faithful companion, Forest. May his memory be forever a blessing.

In keeping with Avery's spirit we have donated his tissues to science in his honor to help other families in need.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm St. Chapel. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Saint Pius The Tenth Catholic Church in Greensboro.
